Hpc cannot download thirdpart scotch 7.0.1

The builder needs to clone scotch 7.0.1 when I used nektar_build_scotch. However, our college hpc doesn’t has internet access. Can I download the package and stored the file in the Thirdpart directory as before? I tried, but it seems doesn’t work.

chatgpt gives me a solution. 1, store scotch in nektar/ThirdParty/scotch-7.0.1; 2, revise the file, cmake/ThirdPartyScotch.cmake, replacing
GIT_REPOSITORY https://gitlab.inria.fr/scotch/scotch.git
GIT_TAG v7.0.1
with
DOWNLOAD_COMMAND “”
UPDATE_COMMAND “”

Thanks Ankang - I am not sure why downloading the tarball directly didn’t work, if you pop it in ThirdParty directory it should check the checksum and skip the download part!

Hi Dave, I tried to download the tarball, but it seems doesn’t work. The current code does a “git clone” operation and checkout to v7.0.1, instead of extracting files from the tarball.
